This page documents the design decision and process for the Yagi-Uda antennas that will be used for tracking the rocket
Prelimiary design decisions¶
Justify and document the following, and come back and add to these late if they change at all Why did you choose the frequency band? Why did you choose this specific type of antennas? What will the dimensions be? Are there any concerns speficially with orientation and speed of rocket that you will be addressing with your design?
Link budget, sims, reference¶
Please include images from simulated radiation pattern, real life testing with a vna, anything you are referecing online (from youtube videos, to tutorials, to previous designs), and also include a link budget
BOM & materials¶
In a table, inclide the list of materials you need, and then include links from different vendors and the prices and time to sheep. mark them once you have purchased them
Assembly process¶
Outline the manufacturing and assembly process for these antennas. Include steps, pictures, and any CAD files if neccessary
